There are many online resources in the community for people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, but few are clinically validated and specifically tailored to young adults (YA) with diabetes ages 18-30. This interactive session will explain how The Diabetes Link assessed and addressed the learning gaps in the YA community and applied a learning framework to develop engaging resources for this population. Presenters will walk through their module Sex & Diabetes as a case study and include a facilitated Q&A panel discussion with a diabetes care and education specialist and young adult.
