M01A - Show the Impact of CGM Use in PWD from Underserved Communities

Despite the numerous benefits of continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) in people with diabetes, studies have consistently reported inequities in its use in racial-ethnic minorities, those with lower socioeconomic status, and those with public insurance. This session reviews a study to evaluate the impact of CGM use in people managed by certified diabetes care and education specialists in a nurse practitioner-led diabetes management program using multiple daily injections of insulin from underserved and understudied populations seen in a federally qualified health center.
