The choices of insulin pumps continue to expand, especially automated insulin delivery systems where the insulin pump is automated based on CGM readings. While these systems have increased time-in-range and improved outcomes for people with diabetes, they are not FDA-approved for use in pregnancy, and there are concerns regarding meeting the much tighter time-in-range targets for pregnancy. This session will take a real-world approach to utilizing these systems in pregnancy to achieve optimal pregnancy outcomes by discussing available published data and with presenters sharing their real-world experiences.
