About 98 million, or 1 in every 3 Americans have prediabetes; without lifestyle intervention, around half will develop type 2 diabetes within the next 5 years. The National Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Change Program aims to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes in adults who are at greatest risk. This session will share learnings from real-world experiences with over 1,300 diverse participants, explore three program modalities (in-person, distance, and online), and examine each modality's impact on weight loss, retention, and physical activity. Attendees will reflect on lessons learned and identify which modality might work best for their organization.
