Changes in diabetes technology occur at a fast pace, necessitating that even experienced diabetes care and education specialists learn new skills. When working with children with diabetes, knowing about the latest technology and being able to interpret complex sets of data can provide valuable insights into understanding individual behaviors. However, it is important not to let this become the entirety of the conversation. This session focuses on how to present data from reports, so the conversation does not feel like an invasion of privacy and in a manner that uses person-first, strengths-based collaboration.
