P218 - Survey of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists' Perspectives on Type 1 Diabetes and Teplizumab

The American Diabetes Association promotes screening of type 1 diabetes to determine if an individual has stage 1, 2, or 3 based on characteristics and diagnostic criteria. In addition, the Association recommends teplizumab-mzwv as a pharmacologic intervention to delay symptomatic type 1 diabetes. This poster describes a cross-sectional 20-question RedCap survey assessing the knowledge and perspective of diabetes care and education specialists regarding screening, staging, and delaying type 1 diabetes (T1D), specifically with the use of teplizumab-mzwv.
