P227 - Influence of Education on GLP-1 RA Use in Medical Referral Centers in the Federal Bureau of Prisons

The standard of care in the community is expanding access to GLP-1 receptor agonists with benefits beyond achieving glucose goals. The use of these agents for incarcerated populations raises similar questions and challenges regarding the optimization of resources and available treatments. A variety of educational interventions contributed to several critical milestones in advocating for the use of GLP1 receptor agonists to meet the community standard. This poster describes and notes the relevant educational milestones and includes timelines and outcomes.
