P513 - Insights from an Immersive Education Experience with Continuous Glucose Monitors for Hospital Staff

The use of personal continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices in the inpatient setting is increasing, but many inpatient staff members lack experience with supporting patient use of the CGM and troubleshooting issues that arise, as well as integrating CGM data into clinical care. This poster will present an immersive CGM learning opportunity for multidisciplinary inpatient and operating room staff at an academic medical center in the midwestern United States and will share staff reflections and insights as well as key take aways for others considering similar training.
