Diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) decreases the risk of diabetes-related complications and improves quality of life. This poster showcases the implementation of a one-day in-person DSMES Retreat with hands-on sessions focusing on the ADCES7 Self-Care Behaviors® to empower and equip people with pre-diabetes and diabetes with self-management skills in an engaging setting.
