P101 - What is Efsitora? Mechanism of Action of a Novel Once-Weekly Insulin

This poster describes Insulin Efsitora Alfa, a once-weekly insulin currently in development for type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Efsitora has multiple properties designed to prolong its extended half-life and flat pharmacokinetic profile. Weekly dosing has the potential to simplify insulin dosing and therefore the possibility to improve medication-taking behavior, acceptance, and treatment persistence.
